Alright, I am the same like the islamists but civilized. I am fine with your description. Also, at least I am evolved enough to make my points without the help of profanity.
When it comes to Alex's description of American patriotism, he probably meant that unlike in China or Russia it is not imposed on people by state propaganda from above, instead it is love of free people for the country which guarantees freedom to all.
It is a bit disappointing to see all of you treat the serious issues that Pat Condell addresses as though they were a joke. You lot escaped superstition but landed in comedy and sarcasm world instead of reality. Nothing but a bunch of clowns.

I am guessing you are not an ex-muslim, primitive? Are you going to honour us with an introduction any time soon or do you think we are too funny to understand you or take you seriously?
While we laugh at Islam a lot - and who in their right mind would not find the antidote in the other fly's wing hilarious - we are also seriously concerned about the role Islam will play in the world that we are going to leave for our children. Besides, something you may not be able to relate to, humour can be used as a coping mechanism. Did you read shakalaka's intro? He's much better than me in talking about feelings and loosing one's religion is a traumatic experience.
Lol @ free people in America. Don't misunderstand me - I love America and it truly is a great nation, but patriotism for such a monstrosity can not be what they call a "grass roots" movement. It is a nice trick to make you believe that beliefs a ruling class would love you to hold come from within you.
I admit that everyone in USA has a freedom of speech (just like in our forum) and everyone is free to call their neighbour a bitch or an ass-hole if you'll pardon my French. Europeans on the other hand only think they have freedom of speech and are made (by their ruling class's similar trick) to feel superior to Americans who do not have to be respectful and considerate in their freedom of speech.

The EDL is not much different from a lot of high brow intellectuals who get a respectable hearing in the hushed corridors of power. I mean what's the difference between them and, say, Douglas Murray who thinks Muslims should be deported? Class, that's what. He wears a suit and bears a degree from Oxbridge and they wear tattoos and bear cans of beer. He's just a polished Tommy Robinson. And he's not the only one. A lot of these suited and booted chaps are just educated trolls who recycle the same junk in polysyllables.

Really? You look Chinese. Only American superiority/supremacy (being better than others as you put it) is based on great political ideals instead of being related to the same forefathers or believing in a silly god.

The EDL has been decapitated, Alex, so I guess you must be happy. Tommy Robinson resigned. I used to respect him so much. But I think he's a traitor for getting mixed up with so-called moderate Muslims at the Quilliam Foundation. We have lost one of our great anti-jihad warriors.
That's the nature of politics though isn't it? Betrayal, schism and deceit.
A temporary setback I think. The EDL will come back bigger and stronger. So long as have carry the support of honest thinkers like Pat Condell and Robert Spencer.
