Thanks Alex
Seems I missed the party in March? There seemed to be some men and legends around then...oh, and one guy who seemed lost and mistakenly on the wrong website. Poor guy.
So, nice website. I take it the point is to make this almost moderation free, so people can say whatever they want? If so, providing this takes off, how do you stop the crazy extremists from saying really horrible things about Muslims?

Why should I answer you before you give a proper introduction?
Why are you only concerned with "islamophobes"? I hope we will deal the same with all kinds of extremists and perhaps like you and me they will be free to voice their opinion until most of the forum members decide they are destructive to this forum.
I used to be annoyed by unlimited freedom of speech (American kind) and had more respect for the European kind of freedom, where you must not hurt somebody's feelings, especially as it pertains to their race, sexual deviance or irrational beliefs.
Made sense considering that where I come from freedom of speech could get you punched in the mouth if you don't show proper respect.
But do I still prefer thew European way or have I discovered value in the other model? Why should I tell you before a proper introduction?
Oh and the party is only getting started, dawg.

Thanks for the answer Alex. I'm interested to see how this goes, hopefully more will join so we'll be able to see how well democracy works on here.
As for a proper intro:
I'm an x Muslim who has been that way for a long time. I'm from the UK and was born into the religion. I was lucky, inquisitive and rebellious enough to escape before I turned 16. But I have never really escaped from the effects from Islam.
When I first left, I hated everything that Islam stood for, had very little respect for the people that remained in the faith, and was determined to take with me as many loved ones as possible, as well as a few random stragglers that I saw hope in. A few years and a few black eyes later, I cut my losses and gave up on this quest, settling instead into the arms of detachment from religion, happy drugs, rock n roll, as well as some incredibly plain women.
More recently, I've been rudely welcomed back into the crazy Ummah, through marriage to a beautiful little Muslim girl. Women have always been my weakness, and in this instance, that has proven to be my downfall once more. I've now had a second round of trying to live with the crazy religion in my life, and it has been even less fun than the first time.
I'm here now to receive support from you Alex, and from the wonderful people who are just itching to join this forum. Along the way, I may be able to offer some non-offensive and non-useful advice to people who may be going through something similar as I have gone through.
There's my intro Alex: I dare you now to treat me as an equal?

Shaka,
Thank you for such a beautiful introduction.
Isn't it amazing how traumatic loosing such a silly thing as religion can be? I think so.
I can't blame you for trying to be an actor for free playing a role of someone who loves what in reality scarred your soul. You are doing it for love. We all want love. Take me for example: I - an atheist - got married to a sexy christian woman.
There's a difference between you and me I suspect - I am incredibly happy in my personal life. Personal happiness I value more than anything else, thus my non-judgemental understanding of you getting involved with a muslima. But are you happy? If not, I will support your martyrdom for as long as you want me to, dear friend. If you chose something else, I will likely support you too, buddy.

Shakalaka,
I will hang you by the balls if you don't kiss me. I need a sweet desi boy in my life. Up for some Bachi Bazi? Come man, don't be shy. We're undergoing some refurbishment here, so hang tight. But good intro. I'm impressed already.
@ Alex,
The old link to the forum I have takes me to a different board. The beta version I think. This thread does not appear in it. What the hell is going on?
Still, Shaka is here, God bless him, and I can forgive your incomptence for his nice legs.
Wa Billahi Towfiq.

Bison - LOL @ your welcome - email me the link to the other one - will deactivate, because who has time for more than one forum? - I will not talk to you until we have your formal and proper introduction here @ Shaka I forgot also to ask where you get "shakalakaboomboom" from? They don't say that in London, do they?

@ Alex: thanks for your wise words. In answer to your first question, I think I am happy most of the time. A wise man once said to me that the simplest of people are often the happiest. I think I fall into that category, because I have always lived a fairly happy existence, and even now remain remarkably happy most of the time, despite the shitstorms I sometimes have to surf because of my slightly crazed and religious wife. But such is life, and such is marriage. I feel I would have had problems even if Islam had not been involved: for bigamy is defined as having one wife too many; monogamy is pretty much the same (Oscar Wilde). Re: shakalakaboomboom. That is one of many nicknames I am forced to endure by the bullies around me. Shakalakaboomboom is a racehorse that rose to prominence a couple of years ago, and went on a winning streak for a while. Then, suddenly, he either went mad, or was put down for the unforgivable crime of breaking a leg, and was never heard of again. I'd like to think I was named after him because I too am a stallion, that can see off any challengers to my hard-earned throne. But I strongly suspect that it's the going mad part, or the needing to be put down part, that first drew those vultures to this name @ bison. It's been too long since I last danced naked in the starlight for you. Of course I will be your Bacha. In return, will you smother me on your nipples, and let me drink to my heart's content? I am so pleased to see you here brother. In the previous life that I knew you in, I had to compete with so many lovers of yours, hoping that you would catch my eye just once, so that I can go home and masturbate vigorously at the thought that our eyes had met for that split-second. Of course, had it been any more than a split-second, I would never had made it home to the privacy of my bedroom: I would have volcanically ejaculated right there, on the spot where I stood gazing so lovingly in your direction. So yes, I'm so pleased to find you here, away from all those other jealous lovers of yours. Let's make haste and get a room, before those fuckers arrive?

LOL @ sexual tension between you two. Would seem so gay unless I knew better.
LOL @ one too many wives - good one, Oscar. Luckily for me I found a perfect match and the love we have, which would make any Bollywood drama jealous, makes me believe that monogamy is best for me. (Also AIDS and other nasty bugs).
And shitstorms make you happy? You may be stranger than I thought, brother. They never made me happy so I decided not to be with anyone who likes to cause them.

Shaka,
It's not good to see you. How can it be. You are awfully plain looking. But welcome anyway, fat boy. There are some nutters here, some cranks, and some practitioners of gaylordism. Not a safe place for delicate souls, but knowing your antics, you'll fit right in. Yeah, we've been quiet here for a bit due to some technical difficulties. It's solved now for the most part, but a few glitches remain. Party will start in a couple of weeks I gather from our admin so folks should flock back then.
Keep in touch with me or Alex.
Got to run.
@ Alex,
Keep me updated on your progress. The place looks better than when I last saw it. Don't fuck it up like you did before. I hate this guy.
